Celtic fans to boycott Europa League fixtures after no-nonsense message to board
Celtic supporters are starting to make there feelings known following a disastrous transfer window for the Hoops.
Brendan Rodgers was left frustrated in the transfer window, with Celtic signing Kelechi Iheanacho as a free agent after deadline day.
Questions have been aimed at the Celtic board for their lack of urgency supporting Rodgers, with attacking frailties shown in their shock Champions League exit to Kairat Almaty and in a 0-0 draw with Glasgow rivals Rangers.
Supporters are now venting their frustrations, with many believing the club have not kicked on following a successful campaign last time out.

Open letter threatens Celtic boycott
As per the Daily Record [3 September], Celtic fans are “threatening to boycott” Europa League fixtures, after fan groups signed an open letter demanding answers from the board.
The groups have stated “The time for silence is over,” as they set out a list of questions they want answers to surrounding the transfer window and accountability of football related decisions.
They state fans have “repeatedly been ignored,” demanding “full transparency from the board regarding its repeated failure to back the manager and reinvest our money into the playing squad.”
Brendan Rodgers future in doubt amid rising tensions
Football Insider Verdict
As fans demand accountability and future significant investment into the squad, the transfer window may be the last for Rodgers.
Rodgers has showed his frustration this season and was clearly expecting the likes of Kyogo and Nicolas Kuhn to be replaced sooner.

The manager walked in his previous stint at Celtic mid-way through the season, and there are concerns he could do again.
Nottingham Forest are interested in Rodgers if they decide to sack Nuno Espirito Santo at the City Ground.

Losing Rodgers would highlight the failings to back a manager that took Celtic to the Champions League knock out stages.
Rodgers and Celtic need to try and replicate that feat in the Europa League, though the potential boycott of fans at matches may not help the cause.
