Celtic look set to miss out on Jocelin Ta Bi this January transfer window despite heavy links to the forward.
Ta Bi was reportedly in advanced talks to move to Celtic Park as Martin O’Neill aims to reinforce his squad this January.
The Maccabi Netanya attacker has had a successful season, and has picked up four goal contribution is 12 appearances this season.
However, it now appears that Ta Bi is set to sign for Sunderland, in a late twist after the Hoops had reservations over his fitness levels.
Yet, despite Celtic fans calling for new signings this January, many of the Celtic Park faithful will be overjoyed at this news.

As a result, with the deal now falling through, the Celtic Park faithful will be overjoyed by the news.
While additions are needed this month, it is clear that O’Neill will have look elsewhere.
What are Celtic’s January plans?
Celtic have seen little activity so far this January, despite Rangers and Hearts bringing in multiple new additions.
So far, Julian Araujo is the only new face at the Old Firm club this month, joining on loan from Bournemouth. However, further additions are expected over the coming weeks.
Football Insider recently revealed that Celtic are set to target a striker and a defender before the end of the window.
Reinforcements are felt to be needed to keep the Hoops in the title race, especially with their recent injuries.
