Celtic man worried about Ryan Jack after confirmed Rangers news
Frank McAvennie is worried Ryan Jack could face another spell on the sidelines for Rangers when the season resumes.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former Celtic striker said the Light Blues have been ‘rushing’ Jack back when he should be focussing on fully recovering before the restart.
The 30-year-old picked up a calf injury in the Gers 7-1 hammering by Liverpool last month (12 October) but was able to feature for the final 30 minutes of their 1-1 draw with St Mirren before the break.

The midfielder also played 30 minutes for Scotland in an international friendly defeat to Turkey on 16 November.
As quoted by FootballScotland (18 November), Jack insisted he is “fully fit” and was pleased to get some minutes for the national team.
The Scotland international said he spoke to national team boss Steve Clarke ahead of the friendly and insisted he was fit enough to play.
But McAvennie claimed Rangers shouldn’t have let the playmaker go away with the national team.
“They are rushing Jack back,” he told Football Insider.
“I do not think Jack is fit. He is not ready yet. I think he could get another injury.
“Hopefully he has come out the other side but I think they were rushing him back. He has a couple of weeks now to get himself back into shape.“

The Scottish top flight returns on 15 December where the Gers face Hibernian at Ibrox.
The Ibrox club are nine points behind their Glasgow rivals Celtic heading into the second half of the season.
