Armstrong was the deeper-lying player that really made the Celtic attack tick against Aberdeen.
His set-pieces were constantly on point and his deep free-kick in the second half was the major contributor to Dembele’s second goal.
The Scotland international was in peak form when playing in behind a striker in the No 10 role last season, but this term he seems better when in the centre of midfield alongside Brown.
