Dedryck Boyata and Jozo Simunovic put the fear in the hearts of most Bhoys fans and have to be improved upon in the summer.
The man that can improve them is definitely Chelsea centre-back Kalas, who is currently on loan at Fulham.
The ball-playing defender, who has 11 caps for the Czech Republic, would fit Rodgers’ tactics perfectly and would be an improvement on the current crop.
Kalas has proved at Fulham that he is a solid defender and he must be desperate for a step up next term.
