Forrest is a very likely contender for the player of the year award after a stunning season.
No one would have predicted that the 26-year-old winger would be the key man behind Celtic’s bid for back-to-back trebles, especially when Patrick Roberts returned for another loan.
However Roberts and another right winger in Jonny Hayes have struggled with injuries and that has forced Forrest into the limelight.
There may be summer interest in him, but Rodgers should look to rebuff any bids.
