Fenerbahce are in advanced talks with QPR over signing winger Bright Osayi-Samuel despite Celtic and Rangers offers, Football Insider can exclusively reveal.

The Scottish giants have offered pre-contract deals to the forward, 23, as they look to sign him on a free transfer in the summer.

But Football Insider has been told by an industry source that Turkish giants Fenerbahce have stolen a march on the Glasgow duo and are closing in on Osayi-Samuel's signature.

Talks with the player over signing permanently this month, rather than on a pre-contract, are at an advanced stage.

That would enable QPR to secure a fee for the wide man, who has knocked back multiple attempts to tie him to a contract extension.

Rangers and Celtic have looked at a summer deal for Osayi-Samuel rather than a multi-million January deal.

He is now free to talk to clubs outside of England about a pre-contract agreement.

In addition to Rangers and Celtic, there has also been interest from Premier League clubs including Leicester City, Fulham and Brighton.

He came within a whisker of joining Brugge in the summer after they had a £5m bid accepted, only for the move to collapse when the player pulled out at the eleventh hour.

Osayi-Samuel has started 19 of QPR's 22 Championship matches this season, scoring three goals and supplying three assists.

The versatile operator, who can play anywhere behind the striker including on both flanks, scored six goals and supplied nine assists from 40 matches in all competitions last season.
