Johnny Hayes was a good player for Aberdeen.
But he isn’t a good player for Celtic.
It’s difficult to see what exactly it was that Rodgers saw in the Irishman to lead him to sign Hayes for Celtic but it happened.
Already linked with a move away from Celtic, Hayes appears to be a signing everyone will be better off forgetting.
With no goals or assists so far, Hayes will struggle to get game time ahead of the likes of Scott Sinclair, Paddy Roberts, James Forrest and Stuart Armstrong.
