Celtic ticket website confirms major update on clash v Morton

There is confusion among Celtic fans as the club ticket office has confirmed that he forthcoming Scottish Cup tie against Morton on Saturday has been postponed.

As yet there has been no official announcement, but when you try to buy tickets for the match online on Celtic’s ticket website you get told that the match as been postponed due to “adverse weather conditions”

The news would be a blow for the Hoops who are trying to get back in action following the postponement of the league match against Dundee on Wednesday night.

If the match is cancelled it will take place in the week after the Old Firm derby on March the 14th, which has been confirmed by the SFA.

The Hoops will be determined more than ever to make sure that the postponed match against Dundee takes place this Wednesday, to make sure that they have some game time ahead of the Old Firm derby.

If the match against Dundee can’t be rescheduled in time, it could mean two weeks without a game for the Hoops ahead of the Old Firm derby, which seems a worry.

The Hoops will hope this is just a website error and the match will be going ahead.

In other Celtic news, the Hoops stadium announcer had claimed that the Morton game would be going ahead
