Celtic tipped to 'get in' multiple signings after surprise new Ajer details emerge - pundit
Ange Postecoglou will use the money generated from Kristoffer Ajer’s sale to seal multiple new signings for Celtic.
That is according to ex-Aston Villa and England forward Gabby Agbonlahor, speaking exclusively to Football Insider as Ajer closes in on a move away from Parkhead.
Football Insider revealed today (21 July) that the Hoops have reached an agreement with Brentford over a deal worth £17.5million including add-ons for the defender.
That includes an initial £13.5million fee and over £4million of add-ons.
Celtic have since confirmed the deal and he has signed a five-year deal with Brentford.
“Get that money in as soon as possible,” Agbonlahor told Football Insider correspondent Connor Whitley.

“Let’s get some players in before the window closes.
“For a team like Celtic, that sort of money will bring in a lot of players. It can bring in a few loan players as it could pay loan fees and wages.
“I think, as the manager of Celtic, he’s probably thinking ‘I’ve not got a big budget but at least now I can spend.
“It will be one they will be looking to get over the line and him not being in the squad for the Champions League that shows the manager wants to get rid of him.”
Postecoglou has already added Osaze Urhoghide, Liel Abada and Kyogo Furuhashi to his squad this summer.
Abada scored the Bhoys’ only goal in their crucial 1-1 draw with FC Midtjylland in a Champions League qualifier yesterday (20 July).
However, he revealed in a press conference last week he has been left frustrated by the pace of Celtic’s transfer business this summer.
