Celtic tipped to re-enter transfer market for upgrade after reveal via Sky – pundit
Alan Hutton has claimed Celtic will only want to make more signings if they can find someone “better” than their current options.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the ex-Rangers striker said Ange Postecoglou will be happy to start the season with his current squad.
Speaking to Sky Sports (22 July), Postecoglou revealed Celtic will remain active in the transfer window.

He added the Scottish champions will be “ready to go” if they can find the “right solution”.
Hutton said that despite not replacing Scott Brown in midfield, there is enough strength in the current squad without a successor to the former captain.
“I think, like every manager at this moment in time, it’s days to go before the season starts, I think he will be happy with what he’s got at this moment in time,” he told Football Insider.
“You never close doors, you never turn anything down, if something comes up that’s going to make your team better, that is better than what you have already – it’s not just about numbers it’s about quality over quantity – then I think he’ll bring somebody in.

“At one stage I was thinking they’ve still not replaced Scott Brown, but actually when you look at the three: [Matt] O’Riley, [Reo] Hatate and [Callum] McGregor, I think they’re really strong.
“They’ve got people on the bench, a good strong squad. So I think he’d be happy but he’s just not closing any doors.“
