Armstrong hasjust come off the back of three strong performances for club and country but simply never got going against PSG.
Started as part of a central-midfield trio with Brown and Ntcham but replaced at half-time by Australian Tom Rogic.
Far from the only player who could have been subbed at the break but this was a horrible display when it mattered from the 25-year-old, who struggled to cope in such esteemed company.
