Celtic v Rangers: Agbonlahor predicts winner tonight in ‘amazing’ verdict
Gabby Agbonlahor has tipped Celtic to beat Rangers in Wednesday nightโs (2 February) Old Firm derby at Parkhead.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the ex-Aston Villa and England attacker claimed Celtic will come out on top because they have home advantage and know they can go top of the Scottish Premiership table with a win.
Rangers are currently two points above their Glasgow rivals at the top of the league after drawing their last two games.
The Hoops have picked up where they left off after the winter break and are on a run of four consecutive victories in the league.
The two clubs have already met once this season as the Gers beat Celtic 1-0 at Ibrox in the fourth game of the campaign.
But Agbonlahor has backed Ange Postecoglou to get his first win over the Ibrox club tonight.
He told Football Insider correspondent Connor Whitley: โI think Celtic will win.
โTheyโve got home advantage and they are the ones chasing Rangers. They know if they win they go above them, there are only two points in it.
โI think itโs going to be an amazing game with an amazing atmosphere but Iโve got to back Celtic to win the game.โ
Celtic last beat Rangers in the Scottish League Cup final in December 2019 thanks to a Christopher Jullien winner.

Victory tonight would see Postecoglouโs side go one point clear at the top of the table.
If Rangers avoid defeat they will stay two points clear and a win would see them extend the gap between the two clubs to five points.
