Celtic ‘very interested’ in Lennon Miller – ‘best Scottish talent in a generation’
Celtic are looking to sign Motherwell midfielder Lennon Miller during the summer transfer window, sources have told Football Insider.
Speaking on the latest edition of Football Insider’s Inside Track podcast, senior correspondent Pete O’Rourke revealed that the 18-year-old is being seen as the best young prospect to come out of Scotland in the last decade.
Miller has amassed a lot of experience during his time with the Steelmen, having proven his ability to comfortably play in the Scottish Premiership.

Motherwell want to recoup the biggest fee possible for him, and it is believed he could be worth just short of £10million right now.
Celtic are “very much interested” in Miller, and the Hoops even showed a bit of interest during the January transfer window.
The Scottish giants didn’t commit all the way to try and sign Miller in the previous transfer window, but summer could be a different story.

Celtic will face competition to sign Lennon Miller
Celtic are not the only team who have an interest in signing Miller this summer as his performances have caught the attention of teams around Europe.
Motherwell have already rejected bids from Udinese and Union Saint-Gilles in Belgium, and more offers are expected to take place for Miller during the summer transfer window.
Well-placed sources have told Football Insider that Lyon have also been monitoring as a potential signing to bolster their squad.

Celtic are set to financially back Brendan Rodgers
Celtic have dominated the Scottish Premiership this season while also winning the Scottish Cup, and now Rodgers is looking to take the team one step further – which would be success in Europe.
He has been public about his desire to make Celtic even more competitive in the Champions League and fans have urged the board to financially back Rodgers.
Celtic have earned £38million in prize money from their Champions League performances this season, and the club could reinvest that into the team.
