Celtic and Martin O'Neill are experiencing a topsy-turvy 2026-27 campaign at Parkhead.

Despite the Hoops sitting top of the Scottish Premiership, two points clear of Rangers, not everything is going to plan for the 56-time champions.

During the international break, O'Neill admitted that he would be considering his future at the club, clearly being broken by the Old Firm results.

The Hoops have also been relegated to the Europa League after an embarrassing collapse against LASK. He's unlikely to leave just yet, though.

New signings have given Celtic plenty of positives to take from the season so far, but the squad hasn't quite fully gelled at Parkhead.

With all of this in mind, Football Insider has looked at three players who have seen their valuations soar just a few games into the season.

Camilo Duran

In 12 appearances, Camilo Duran already has six goals and three assists, helping the Hoops to the top spot in the Scottish Premiership.

His form in Scotland has even seen the winger called up to Colombia's national team for the first time, though he's yet to make his debut.

Mika Baur

Joining in the summer, just like Duran, Mika Baur has slotted straight into the lineup after his move from Bundesliga side Paderborn.

While he has only started four of Celtic's league games so far, he's shown some great signs, and it won't be long before other clubs take notice.

Colby Donovan

Football clubs are desperate for their academy stars to break through, and that's exactly what Colby Donovan has done in 2026-27.

The 20-year-old has started almost as many Scottish Premiership games this term as he did last season, consolidating his spot in the lineup with five starts from his seven matches and 499 minutes played.

With Champions League and Europa League minutes under his belt as well, Donovan has emerged as one of the most exciting youngsters at Parkhead.

The stats are interesting. In league matches alone, he has completed 86 per cent of his passes, won 62% of his duels and, most impressively of all, has an 83% dribble success.
