Slaven Bilic should continue his brilliant work in the transfer window with West Ham by luring Barcelona defender Thomas Vermaelen to the London Stadium this summer.
Sky Sports claimed on their Transfer Centre (Sunday, 2.04pm) that the 31-year-old is interesting West Brom, while Crystal Palace are also said to be keen.
The former Arsenal defender has struggled to make an impression at the Nou Camp as he continues to suffer with multiple injuries that kept him sidelined more than not.
Way down the pecking order behind the likes of Javier Mascherano, Gerard Pique, Samuel Umtiti and Jeremy Mathieu, Vermaelen could be looking for a way out.
