Championship manager sees odds slashed to replace Nuno Espirito Santo at West Ham amid sack latest
Ipswich Town boss Kieran McKenna is now the bookmakers’ second favourite to be West Ham’s new manager if Nuno Espirito Santo is sacked soon.
Nuno is facing an uncertain future as West Ham boss as they battle to survive a surprise relegation to the Championship this season.
He was hired as Graham Potter’s replacement back in September, but has only led the Hammers to two wins from the 16 Premier League games he has overseen so far.
They currently sit 18th, seven points from safety, and Nuno is now the bookies’ favourite to be sacked next among all Premier League managers.
Football Insider recently revealed that Nuno will be given a chance to turn West Ham’s poor form around, but more poor results could see him dismissed, with McKenna touted to take over in his place.

McKenna is the bookies’ second favourite to be West Ham’s next manager
McKenna led Ipswich to successive promotions in 2022-23 and 2023-24 as they returned to the Premier League after 22 years away, but they were immediately relegated back to the second tier last season.
The Tractor Boys currently sit third in the Championship as they chase a top-flight return, but McKenna has been linked to West Ham recently amid uncertainty around Nuno’s future.

He was previously an outsider to take the Hammers job, but is now a clear second favourite to replace Nuno, at odds of 5/1, according to one of the UK’s leading bookies.
Who else is in the running to succeed Nuno as West Ham manager?
Nuno could well be relieved of his duties soon as the Hammers face a tough run of games against Tottenham, Sunderland and Chelsea this month.
Former boss Slaven Bilic is the current favourite to replace Nuno, at odds of 5/4, while Harry Redknapp is a surprise contender who is also believed to be in the running, at 8/1 odds.

Football Insider recently revealed that Bilic would be open to returning to the London Stadium, which should come as little surprise, considering he has not been involved in management since leaving Al-Fateh in August 2024.
Frank Lampard and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer are also priced as contenders to be the next Irons manager, at odds of 10/1, while Ruben Amorim and Gareth Southgate also come in at 12/1 odds.
