Chelsea fans say the same thing about Cole Palmer quitting after confession
Cole Palmer has once again been the star man at Chelsea this season, as the young attacking midfielder continues to dazzle at Stamford Bridge.
The 22-year-old joined the Blues in 2023 and burst onto the scene after only being given limited opportunities under Pep Guardiola at Man City.
In his first season at the club Palmer scored 27 goals and provided 15 assists in 48 appearances in all competitions in what was a tough season for Chelsea.
The attacking midfielder has proven that wasn’t a one-off special season with his performances throughout this campaign, scoring 14 goals and providing six assists in 29 appearances in all competitions.
However, there has been some speculation about Palmer’s long-term future at Stamford Bridge should the club fail to secure Champions League football.
Position | Team | Played | GD | Points |
3. | Nottingham Forest | 26 | +11 | 47 |
4. | Man City | 26 | +15 | 44 |
5. | Newcastle | 26 | +15 | 44 |
6. | Bournemouth | 26 | +14 | 43 |
7. | Chelsea | 26 | +12 | 43 |
8. | Aston Villa | 27 | -2 | 42 |
The Blues are currently in a difficult period after winning only three games out of their previous 12, with the form seeing them slip away in the Premier League table.

Enzo Maresca shares Cole Palmer exit stance
Palmer’s future was brought up to Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca in his latest pre-match press conference, but he showed no signs of worry.
He said, “I think Cole Palmer has signed a contract until about 2035.
“I don’t think he’s worried at the moment whether we do or don’t play in [the] Champions League, he’s just focused on trying to help the team.”

Chelsea fans are confident Cole Palmer will stay
The England international is actually under contract at Stamford Bridge until 2033, and Football Insider journalist Connor Humm revealed the idea of Palmer being sold if they don’t get Champions League football is “nonsense.”
Chelsea fans are equally not worried about any speculation regarding his future, claiming he’s “locked in” and has shown his “dedication.”
