Chelsea fans say the same thing about Enzo Fernandez as emotional footage emerges
Chelsea were handed their latest defeat at the hands of Aston Villa on Saturday (22 February) after late drama led to heartbreak for the Blues.
Enzo Maresca’s side had led the game in the first half after Enzo Fernandez found the back of the net, but they ended up letting that slip as Villa came back to win 2-1 after a Marco Asensio brace.

Asensio’s match-winner came in the 89th minute after an individual mistake from Filip Jorgensen cost his team as he let a soft shot slip underneath him.
It extended Chelsea’s dismal run of form in all competitions, with the Blues having only managed three wins in their last 12 fixtures.
The result left Maresca’s side in sixth place as Villa added further pressure to them by moving to just one point behind them in the table.
Chelsea will aim to turn things around on Tuesday (25 February) when they host Southampton, who currently sit bottom of the Premier League.
Enzo Fernandez tried to drive his team forward
Fernandez scored Chelsea’s only goal of the game, and with four shots in total, he attempted to drive the team forward in an attacking sense.
The 24-year-old created two chances throughout the game and was 83 percent accurate with the 40 passes he attempted.
The midfielder made 60 touches and was 100 percent successful with his attempted dribbles, but his individual performance wasn’t enough to secure any points for the Blues.

Fernandez’s reaction to the defeat at full time was captured by the Sky Sports cameras as the World Cup winner showcased genuine emotion.
The midfielder was evidently hurt by the defeat, and Chelsea fans believe he’s the “one of the only players that actually cares” within the squad.
