Chelsea news: Pundit makes Graham Potter sack claim after source’s reveal
Alan Hutton has urged the Chelsea board to give Graham Potter 10 games of the new season before deciding his future.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former Tottenham and Aston Villa defender said Potter should be given pre-season and 10 or 15 games of the 2023/24 season to turn things around.
The former Brighton boss has been under massive pressure in recent weeks after a poor run of form at Stamford Bridge sees the Blues 10th in the Premier League and 11 points off a Champions League spot.

The London club have won just one of their last five games and only two games this calendar year.
On 3 March, sources told Football Insider that Chelsea are keeping their faith in the manager despite the poor results.
Owner Todd Boehly considers Potter part of the long-term project at Stamford Bridge and understands taking the job midway through the season was a difficult task, particularly given their massive January spend.
Hutton insisted Potter needs the rest of the season to turn things around.
“Graham Potter has been under immense pressure because of the amount of money they have spent instantly,” he told Football Insider.
“I still do not think that is going to work all the time. Just because you go and splash the cash on all these top players, they are not going to gel right away.

“He needs the rest of this season, wherever they finish it is something they are just going to have to take on the chin.
“Allow him to have pre-season, pick his strongest team, get everybody gelled together and see how it goes after 10 or 15 games of the new season.“
