By Dominic Toner

Football Insider rates the Chelsea players after their 3-1 victory against Arsenal in the Premier League on Saturday.

Thibaut Courtois 6 – The goalkeeper managed to tip Gabriel’s headed effort to safety in the first-half. Was fairly untested for the most part, but will be disappointed to conceded late on.

Cesar Azpilicueta 7 – He was very strong in his one-on-one battles and is the perfect fit for a right centre-back.

David Luiz 6 – Fairly quiet and would have expected a tougher battle from Alexis Sanchez.

Gary Cahill 6 – He managed to contend with the threat of Theo Walcott and enjoyed a quiet afternoon.

Victor Moses 7 – The wing-back supported the attack extremely well and looks rejuvenated in this system. Worked tirelessly on the flank.

N’Golo Kante 8 – The combative midfielder covered every blade of grass during the game, breaking up Arsenal attacks and being assured in possession.

Nemanja Matic 7 – He broke up possession well and is a mainstay in the starting line-up.

Marcos Alonso 8 – Pushed on very well to support Hazard on the left and opened the scoring with a strong header.

Pedro 7 – He continued his impressive form this season with another tenacious display, just lacking the final ball.

Diego Costa 7 – The Spaniard battled very well and linked up well with Eden Hazard. Just missing a goal to his performance.

Eden Hazard 9 – The Belgian was the star player on the pitch and tormented the Arsenal defence with his dribbling. Scored the crucial second goal with a remarkable goal, ghosting into the penalty area before finishing calmly.
