Chelsea to accept Filip Jorgensen offer after opening talks with ‘world-class’ goalkeeper
Chelsea are set to reshuffle their goalkeeping ranks by accepting an offer for Filip Jorgensen and signing a proven replacement.
Robert Sanchez has struggled for consistency during his Chelsea career and many feel that Enzo Maresca must bring in a new number one.
When Sanchez was sent off against Manchester United, Jorgensen came off the bench to replace him, but bar that one appearance he has been restricted to game time in cup competitions.
Now, the Danish international could be offloaded entirely to make room for the signing of a world-class goalkeeper.

Chelsea make contact with AC Milan star over summer deal
Football Insider hasalready revealed that Chelsea will be in the race to sign Mike Maignan if he becomes available.
Maignan was linked with a move to Chelsea during the most recent transfer window, but the deal ultimately fell through.
The 30-year-old’s contract with AC Milan expires at the end of the season, and he will be available on a free transfer in the summer.
According to Sacha Tavolieri, Chelsea have now opened contract talks with Maignan after learning that he will not be signing a new deal with Milan.
The Blues can secure the Frenchman on a pre-contract agreement from the beginning of January, to prevent any other clubs from pipping them to the move.
Chelsea are also seriously considering the departure of Jorgensen in order to free up space for Maignan to come in.
Chelsea must sign Mike Maigan to challenge for Premier League
Chelsea are currently six points adrift of table-topping Arsenal in the Premier League, but winning the title this season already looks to be a tall order.

To make the step up ahead of next season, Maresca’s side need to ensure that they replace Sanchez in goal.
The 28-year-old can often be very solid and has performed well in recent weeks, but he makes far too many mistakes for a side that want to challenge for the title.
If Chelsea bring in Maignan over the summer, then they will seriously improve their chances of winning the Premier League next season.
