‘Clueless’ – Leeds fans explode at ‘strange’ club update amid Daniel Farke sack rumours

Leeds United supporters have found themselves deeply disappointed following a new update on Daniel Farke’s future at Elland Road.

Football Insider understands that Farke may have five games to save his job after the Whites slipped into the Premier League relegation zone with a defeat to Aston Villa on Sunday, 23 November.

Morgan Rogers was at the top of his game as Villa overturned a one-goal deficit at Elland Road to secure all three points, and also stripped Farke’s side of any points for the seventh time this season.

There were rumours circulating in recent days that the 49ers Enterprises had already decided to part ways with the under-pressure manager, but that appears to have been completely debunked by the club.

Daniel Farke has not yet been sacked at Leeds United

It has been revealed that Farke’s press conference ahead of facing Man City has been scheduled for Thursday, 27 November, all but confirming that no such decision has been made.

Responding to the announcement, one supporter claimed that the club are “just delaying the inevitable”, while another asked if there was “still hope” and that the press conference was already in place.

Fans are rioting on social media and at Elland Road, with some calling for those in charge in the boardroom to walk away, as Leeds sink closer and closer to Premier League relegation.

Farke is still being backed at Elland Road

Amidst all the turmoil, Football Insider understands that Farke still has the backing of the Leeds hierarchy, but as Premier League managers are aware, that could change in an instant.

In a total of 61 matches at the top level, the German has won just nine matches, claiming a 15 per cent win record, albeit many of those came during his time at Norwich City.

The Whites spent north of £100million during the summer transfer window, but that does not seem to have helped them in their quest for Premier League survival.

With games against Man City, Chelsea, and Liverpool all on the horizon, it is difficult to see where Leeds pick up points, and how Farke saves himself from inevitable sack.
