Cole Palmer responds to Jadon Sancho’s message amid Chelsea exit news
Jadon Sancho remained upbeat in a message for Chelsea fans after playing his part in their progression to the Conference League quarter-finals.
Chelsea secured a hard-fought 1-0 win over Copenhagen in the second leg, with Enzo Maresca’s side sealing a 3-1 aggregate victory.
Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall has been called out for his Chelsea performances in recent weeks, but proved to be the difference-maker, scoring the only goal of the game.
Maresca has regularly rotated his squad in European fixtures, and Sancho was among those given a start, lining up on the right wing alongside Pedro Neto and Tyrique George.
However, Sancho’s long-term future at Chelsea remains uncertain, as the club could opt out of their obligation to buy him from Man United by paying a significant financial penalty.
Despite the speculation, he remained focused on the task at hand, celebrating the victory on social media and Chelsea’s progress in the competition.

Cole Palmer and Noni Madueke react as Jadon Sancho celebrates Chelsea’s European progress
Sancho shared a celebratory post on Instagram, featuring himself alongside goalscorer Dewsbury-Hall, captioning it: “Onto the Quarter-Finals!”
Cole Palmer, who came on at half-time for Enzo Fernandez, responded in the comments, directing his message at Dewsbury-Hall: “My guy tho KDH.”
Noni Madueke, still recovering from injury, also joined in, replying: “My boy man!” as Chelsea players showed their support for Sancho and his role in the victory.
Despite the positive reactions, Sancho has faced criticism for his inconsistencies this season, with his last goal coming back in December.
Maresca has used the winger in a rotational role, with the Englishman making just 15 Premier League starts, contributing two goals and six assists so far.

Enzo Maresca faces Jadon Sancho decision amid Man United tensions
It would likely be an awkward return to Old Trafford for the winger if he doesn’t move to Chelsea permanently as Man United fans wanted Sancho fined for his “freedom” comment to Marcus Rashford.
Chelsea supporters were initially impressed by Sancho and his impact earlier in the season, especially in providing assists, but his recent form has dipped.
Still, it remains to be seen whether Maresca includes him in his long-term plans, with attention now turning to Chelsea’s clash against Arsenal on 16 March.
