Cole Palmer responds to Tosin Adarabioyo’s three-word message pre-showdown
Chelsea defender Tosin Adarabioyo shared an update from training as the club step up their final preparations to face West Ham.
The Blues will be looking to respond positively after Chelsea‘s frustrating goalless draw with Crystal Palace in their Premier League opener.
Enzo Maresca’s side are already dealing with injury setbacks, with Levi Colwill sidelined by an ACL injury before the season had even begun.
Adarabioyo himself also missed out on the opening match after picking up a knock in pre-season, adding to the defensive concerns.
His future had been uncertain earlier in the summer when Football Insider reported that Chelsea had offered Aradabioyo as part of a deal for Morgan Rogers, alongside Nicolas Jackson. However, Aston Villa have been reluctant to part with their highly-rated forward, and Adarabioyo has so far remained at Stamford Bridge.
Still, the defender’s latest message from Cobham will serve as a boost to both supporters and his manager as Chelsea gear up for their London derby against West Ham on 22 August.

Tosin Adarabioyo returns to Chelsea training ahead of West Ham clash
Adarabioyo has handed Chelsea a timely boost after confirming his return to training in his latest Instagram update.
The defender shared multiple photos from the Cobham session with the caption: “Friday Night Football”. His post quickly drew reactions from teammates, with Cole Palmer, Marc Cucurella and Moises Caicedo among those to show their support by liking the message.
He joined the Blues last summer on a free transfer after leaving Fulham at the end of his contract, with Chelsea beating Newcastle for Adarabioyo’s signature.
While he started just 15 league matches last season, the centre-back played an important role whenever called upon and grew into a reliable option across the campaign.
Football Insider previously reported that Chelsea rejected interest from West Ham in January for Adarabioyo due to their own defensive injury concerns, and although speculation resurfaced earlier this summer, he remains part of Maresca’s squad plans for now.
Raheem Sterling linked with Chelsea exit as West Ham make approach

As the club finalise preparations for their London derby against West Ham, one player who looks set to miss out is Raheem Sterling.
Football Insider report that their next opponents West Ham have identified Sterling as a potential target before the transfer window closes.
HIs representatives have already sounded out interest from several clubs, including Fulham, but reports suggest former Chelsea manager Graham Potter is particularly keen to work with him again.
