Confirmed Leeds line-up v Huddersfield: Monk makes three changes

By Dominic Toner

Leeds have made three changes to their starting XI for the away match against Huddersfield in the Championship.

The Whites travel to their Yorkshire rivals on Sunday and will be hoping to cement their position even further in the play-off positions.

Garry Monk has decided to make three alterations from the team that beat Blackburn 2-1 on Wednesday night.

Ronaldo Vieira, Pablo Hernandez and Souleymane Doukara have come into the side and will hope to impress.

Meanwhile, Kemar Roofe, Eunan O’Kane and Hadi Sacko have all dropped out.

Leeds have announced their starting line-up on their official Twitter account.

Leeds are currently fourth-placed in the league table and will be just three points behind the automatic spots with a win on Sunday.

Huddersfield should prove to be an extremely difficult test as they are just a place behind the Whites and have their own promotion ambitions.

The previous meeting this season between the two sides saw Leeds lose 1-0 at Elland Road, with Aaron Mooy scoring the decisive goal in the second-half.

Garry Monk’s side were in the relegation places after that defeat, but are now much improved and one of the in-form teams in the Championship.
