Conor Gallagher exit now on the cards after source’s £25m Chelsea reveal – pundit
Alan Hutton has suggested Conor Gallagher could leave Chelsea on loan this season for a “top half team”.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former Tottenham and Aston Villa right-back said the Blues will have to make a “quick decision” over the future of the 22-year-old.
On Sunday (28 August), sources told this site that the London club have offered the midfielder as part of a cash plus player deal for Everton’s Anthony Gordon.

Thomas Tuchel’s side have offered Armando Broja plus £25million as well as Gallagher in exchange for Gordon.
Gallagher was in the starting lineup for Chelsea’s 2-1 win over Leicester City on Saturday (27 August).
But the England international was sent off after being booked twice in the opening half an hour of the match at Stamford Bridge.
The midfielder currently has three years remaining on his contract.
Gallagher spent last season on loan with Crystal Palace.
Hutton suggested a loan deal would be more likely than a permanent move away this season.
“They’ll have to make a quick decision because time’s nearly up,” he told Football Insider.
“He has got game time [at Chelsea]. I think he’s a brilliant player, I thought he was outstanding last season for Crystal Palace. There will be a queue around the block to take him, whether it be on loan. I don’t think they’ll sell him to be honest.

“If he were to go to a top half team, I think would be an ideal situation but I’m hearing reports that Gallagher has said he wants to stay and fight for his position. But you can only do that if you’ve spoken to the manager and he’s letting you know that there’s opportunity there for you. If there’s not then you have to leave.
“I think they are very strong all over the pitch, he’s got the opportunity to break in to the team but we’ll have to wait and see.“
In other news, according to sources, Chelsea are ready offer for Tottenham-wanted defender Ronnie Edwards.
