Sources: Crystal Palace make starlet Street available for January move as multiple EFL clubs swoop
Multiple EFL clubs have made approaches to sign Crystal Palace rising star Rob Street on loan in January, Football Insider understands.
The 20-year-old, who has been named on the bench twice for Palace in the Premier League this season, is regarded as a future first teamer at Selhurst Park.
A Palace source has told Football Insider that the club want scoring sensation Street to go out on loan in the second half of the season to get regular first-team football.
The Premier League outfit have already fielded enquiries from several EFL clubs.
The 20-year-old, who has scored seven goals in 14 appearances at development level this term, is out of contract in the summer of 2023.
He is one of several rising stars to have emerged from Palace’s recently-upgraded youth facilities over the past few years.
Wilfried Zaha, Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Tyrick Mitchell are among the club’s other recent success stories.
Street featured five times on loan at Torquay United in the National League during a loan spell there in the second half of 2020-21.
He has netted 13 times and registered three assists in 31 appearances for Palace’s under-23 side in total over the last three seasons.

As quoted by the club’s media team in July last year (2020), the youngster revealed he has “loved” working under Patrick Viera since his instatement as Palace boss over the summer.
But Christian Benteke and Jordan Ayew as well as summer signings Jean-Philippe Mateta and Odsonne Edouard are well ahead of him in the striker’s berth at senior level.
