Crystal Palace want to sign the next Daniel Munoz as transfer chief jets out
Crystal Palace are hoping to repeat the trick that saw them land Colombia international Daniel Munoz.
Munoz has been superb for Palace this season, with the defender proving a force down the right flank for Oliver Glasner‘s team.
Signed from Genk in January 2024, the 29-year-old made an immediate impact at Selhurst Park and was key to the campaign that saw the Eagles win the FA Cup in May.
Manchester United are interested in a move for Munoz, but Glasner will be uninterested in doing business for such a key player in January.
The defender was missing from the squad on Sunday as Crystal Palace beat Fulham 2-1, with the Colombian said to be suffering from a slight knee injury.

Matt Hobbs flies out in search of another Daniel Munoz
Munoz confessed that Manchester United are one of his dream clubs in November, in an interview that frustrated Palace fans.
The right-back has been such a positive arrival at Selhurst Park, but will certainly attract big interest in the coming months.

Nathaniel Clyne filled in for Munoz on Saturday, but the Englishman does not possess the same qualities as his teammate.
And with the defender set to turn 35 in April, Palace are in need of a more natural replacement for their marauding wing-back.
Alan Nixon reported to his Patreon on Sunday that the Eagles’ top scout, Matt Hobbs, has flown to Colombia in search of another Munoz.
Palace are targeting additions to the squad in January, with Atletico National winger Marino Hinestroza among the names under consideration.
Who is Marino Hinestroza?
Hinestroza, 23, made his debut for the Colombia national team in June, after strong performances for Atletico National.
The winger has scored seven goals and has provided 11 assists across all competitions this season, joining the club from MLS side Columbus Crew in February.
A fast and technical winger, Hinestroza is prone to taking on his winger with mazy dribbles and clever flicks.
He would certainly be a different style of wide-man to Munoz, but would offer Palace an extra influx of individual quality.
Hinestroza’s contract reportedly expires in 2027, with Atletico Mineiro having paid just over £1million to sign him.
