Curtis Jones sends ‘let’s go’ message to Quansah as ‘Liverpool open to offer’
Jarell Quansah received a message from Liverpool teammate Curtis Jones following the centre-back’s most recent update on social media.
The 22-year-old’s first-team minutes were few and far between at Anfield during the 2024/25 season, making just four Premier League starts as Virgil van Dijk and Ibrahima Konate dominate at the back.
He still received a Premier League winners’ medal for his impact, but Mick Brown told Football Insider that Liverpool could accept an offer for Quansah this summer with Arne Slot’s blessing.
While the young defender made more appearances last season, he still only made 13 Premier League starts, and it now seems time for the player to find a new club to better his development.
Football Insider reported in April that Newcastle United would have to pay over £30million for the centre-back’s signature, but a few more teams could join the race this summer.

Jarell Quansah jets into Slovakia for Euro U21
Taking to Instagram (12 June), Quansah wrote: “Looking forward to the Euro-U21 starting today. We are ready,” with an England flag, catching plenty of attention online.
As well as Konate, Harvey Elliott, and Wataru Endo liking the post, Jones responded: “Let’s go,” with a muscle emoji in a show of support for his teammate.
Arne Slot to green-light further Liverpool exits this summer
Football Insider verdict
Quanash leaving for more game time will be the least of the Reds’ worries this summer, with Van Dijk and Konate more than capable of holding down the fort with Joe Gomez as support.
Trent Alexander-Arnold has already joined Real Madrid ahead of the Club World Cup, with the likes of Kostas Tsimikas, Elliott, Luis Diaz, Darwin Nunez, and Diogo Jota all being linked with Liverpool exits.
Speaking to Liverpool News 247 (10 June), Martin Allen stated that Dominik Szoboszlai’s future is not in any doubt despite the Reds closing in on an eye-watering deal for Florian Wirtz this summer.

It could be a very different-looking starting lineup to the one which kicked off against Crystal Palace on the final day of the Premier League season, though, and Slot is just getting started.
New deals for Van Dijk and Mohamed Salah are incredibly important if the Reds are to achieve more than lifting the Premier League title during Slot’s first season in England.
There are likely to a number of other exciting arrivals at Anfield ahead of the 2025/26 campaign, and supporters will be waiting with anticipation for announcements to be made.
