Liverpool midfielder Curtis Jones has taken to social media to send a message to teammate Andrew Robertson after their 1-0 Champions League win over Girona on Tuesday (December 10).
Robertson, 30, earned the Player of the Match award as Liverpool preserved their flawless Champions League record this season.
The left-back ended the game with a 93 per cent pass accuracy rate, won 100 per cent of his tackles, and made five recoveries.
Mohamed Salah bagged his 16th goal of the season across all competitions from the penalty spot, clinching all three points for Arne Slot’s side after former Man United midfielder Donny van de Beek fouled Luis Diaz in the box.
The Scotland international has been key to Slot’s electric start to life at Anfield, starting 16 of his 20 appearances across all competitions, providing one assist in 1405 minutes of action.

Jones, 23, is establishing himself as a key player under Slot, starting four of Liverpool’s last five games across all competitions.
The central midfielder has started 11 of his 18 games both domestically and in Europe, scoring two goals, and providing four assists in a total of 1000 minutes of action.
With another Champions League win under their belt, Jones took to Instagram to post an image of Robertson and his Player of the Match award, simply saying: “Some man.”
