Danny Mills issues one-word verdict on Leeds United sacking Jesse Marsch as 49ers claim made
Jesse Marsch will be the Leeds United manager next season even if they get relegated, according to Danny Mills.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the ex-Whites and England full-back claimed Marsch was the 49ers “man” and his job is not dependent on survival.
The 48-year-old took over from Marcelo Bielsa at Elland Road at the end of February and signed a three-year deal with the club.

His side are currently on a run of four games without a win and have dropped into the bottom three with two games left of the Premier League season.
They host Brighton & Hove Albion on Sunday (15 May) before travelling to Brentford on the final day of the season (22 May).
Asked whether he thought Marsch would still be at the club if they are relegated, Mills told Football Insider correspondent Connor Whitley: “Yes.”
He added: “I think he was always going to be the man coming in at the end of the season, no matter what.
“There’s the potential for new investment coming in from the 49ers, he was their man. I don’t think his job is wholly dependent on survival. That will be fine but there will be financial implications.
“I don’t think there are too many players on ludicrous wages within the structure but it might have to be balanced by a couple of sales and I think we know where they are likely to be.”

Last time Leeds were relegated from the Premier League it took 16 years for them to return under Bielsa.
In that time they also spent three seasons in League One.
