Darwin Nunez had a message directed at Ibrahima Konate despite both players facing constant speculation about their Liverpool futures.

Nunez has endured a frustrating season, struggling to cement a regular place in the starting XI under Arne Slot.

He’s managed just five Premier League goals, with only eight starts to his name, often finding himself behind Diogo Jota and Luis Diaz in the pecking order.

Konate has also been linked with a potential Liverpool exit as he approaches the final year of his current deal, with no significant progress reported on a contract extension.

Football Insider revealed Real Madrid have expressed serious interest in Konate – a move that could mirror their pursuit of Trent Alexander-Arnold, who is also set to leave Anfield.

Although Mohamed Salah and Virgil van Dijk have recently agreed new terms, the club now appear set to prioritise securing Konate’s future to avoid a repeat of this season’s contract uncertainty.
