Bournemouth braced for Huijsen bids after breakout season

Huijsen is far from the only player Bournemouth could be set to lose this summer with Justin Kluivert one of several who could push for the exit door, but his contractual situation at the Vitality Stadium is unique.

The newly-capped Spain international’s £50million release clause has led the vultures to circle across Europe, with Chelsea, Liverpool, Newcastle, and Real Madrid just a selection of the clubs interested.

The race to sign Huijsen is expected to take many twists and turns, and despite the clear camaraderie present in Bournemouth’s squad, it seems all-but certain that he’ll sport different colours next season.
