Felix Wiedwald is a liability
It’s hard not to feel sorry for Felix Wiedwald, as his game against Queens Park Rangers was going fine until near the end. Then the goalkeeper made an embarrassing howler, that won’t be easy for him or the fans to forget. Luckily Roofe was in superb form to spare the goalkeeper getting any more criticism as he scored a third to make the win comfortable, but the mistake showed how quickly the goalkeeper could be a problem. Wiedwald has already been dropped and recalled this season, and when you’re pushing for the play-offs you can’t avoid to take risks. Leeds should seriously think about swapping him for a safer pair of hands.
