Dejan Kulusevski: Tottenham expert wowed by ‘phenomenal’ player – ‘we haven’t seen that since Bale’
The signing of Dejan Kulusevski is a “phenomenal piece of business” by Fabio Paratici and Tottenham.
That is according to Spurs insider John Wenham, who regularly breaks news about the club on his Lilywhite Rose social media channels.
Kulusevski scored his second Tottenham goal as his side beat Leeds United 4-0 on Saturday (26 February).
The 21-year-old ran riot against the Whites in what was his sixth appearance since joining Spurs on loan from Juventus.
Wenham couldn’t be happier with Kulusevski’s contributions and hailed Paratici for pulling off the January deal.
“I’m delighted with Kulusevski,” Wenham told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.
“He is scoring in big away games, games that are massive for our season and he’s already having a big say in them.
“He’s settled into the Premier League like a duck to water. He looks like a phenomenal piece of business from Fabio Paratici.
“We are getting the player Juventus thought they were getting when he joined them from Parma.
“He was the Serie A young player of the year at that time. His stats across the board were brilliant and he’s looking more like that player than the one we saw at Juventus.
“I couldn’t be happier so far. His shooting is really, really good and I think he’s worth more than the loan fee and obligation to buy we have agreed.
“To have him, Son and Kane upfront is really promising. His finishing is phenomenal, we haven’t seen that since Bale.”
