Dele Alli: Frank Lampard may have major concerns as ‘big’ Everton claim issued
Frank Lampard may be having doubts over Dele Alli at Everton, according to Gabby Agbonlahor.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the ex-Aston Villa and England attacker delivered his verdict as Dele waits to make his full Everton debut.
The attacker was brought on with 15 minutes to go as the Blues lost 2-0 to Southampton at the weekend (19 February).
He has featured in their last three Premier League games but is yet to be named in the starting XI by Lampard.
The 37-time England international seems to be settling in well at Finch Farm and posted a video on social media last Friday (18 February) scoring an audacious overhead kick.
But Agbonlahor insisted his new manager needs to start seeing him have an impact on games.
He told Football Insider correspondent Connor Whitley: “Lampard will be thinking, ‘When can Dele Alli start starting games?’
“He didn’t get long against Southampton. Now you’ve brought in these players you want them to start getting the best out of them.
“I think they will be fine but Frank Lampard has got a big amount of work on his plate there.
“For Dele Alli to come on with 15 minutes left at Southampton, it’s not a lot is it.”

Dele played 10 times in the Premier League for Tottenham and completed the 90 minutes in the opening five games before his January move to Goodison Park.
The 25-year-old scored 51 times and provided 47 assists in 181 top-flight games for Spurs but he has not been at his best in recent seasons.
In other news, Everton have closed their training ground in a ‘big’ blow.
