Moussa Dembele sends Twitter message to Celtic fans
Celtic striker Moussa Dembele has taken to social media to deliver a message to Celtic supporters after the stalemate with Rangers in the Glasgow derby on Saturday afternoon.
The 21-year-old Frenchman used his personal Twitter account to thank fans for their support after the 0-0 draw with Rangers.
“Thank you for your amazing support today.Great year Overall” he tweeted, after a disappointing performance in the Old Firm derby in which he found it difficult to get into the game.
The French under-21 international has been linked with a host of clubs in the English Premier League recently, with the Daily Star reporting that up to four clubs are interested in signing Dembele, with Celtic wanting around £20million for the player.
With the Hoops not playing again until the 20th of January, the chance that Dembele has played his last game in the Hoops seems to be quite high.
Dembele’s first season in Glasgow was a huge success, as he scored 32 goals in helping the Hoops land their first domestic treble since 2001.
He was also a huge part of the squad which set the British domestic record of 69 matches undefeated.
It’s in Europe that Demeble has really caught the eye. scoring four goals in two Champions League group stage campaigns with Celtic, including goals against Manchester City and PSG.
