Celtic fans react as Dembele starts v Ross County
By James Black
Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers has named his side to face Ross County – and fans are delighted to see Moussa Dembele return.
The French striker has been out injured since July and will make his first appearance since the Champions League qualifier against Linfield on Saturday afternoon.
Rodgers has made five changes to the side which lost to PSG, bringing in Nir Bitton, James Forrest, Tom Rogic, Johnny Hayes and Dembele for Mikael Lustig, Olivier Ntcham, Scott Sinclair, Patrick Roberts and Kieran Tierney, as confirmed by Celtic’s official Twitter account prior to kick-off.
The Hoops take on Jim McIntyre’s side as they bid to get over their European hangover following a midweek thrashing by Paris Saint-Germain.
Rodgers may also have one eye on next weekend’s trip to Ibrox to face Rangers for the first time this season.
Dembele’s return will be a big boost to Celtic with the Old Firm and a trip to Belgium to face in the Champions League coming up over the next 11 days.
County have never won at Celtic Park in ten attempts and Rodgers will be hoping he can make it eleven as he looks to extend Celtic’s long unbeaten domestic run.

Dembele had a fantastic first season at Celtic Park – scoring 32 times in 49 appearances – as he helped the Hoops to an unbeaten domestic treble last season.
The 21-year-old was linked with a big-money move away from Celtic during the summer but the Glasgow giants have managed to keep hold of their star man.
Saturday’s clash with Ross County is the last before next weekend’s Old Firm game at Ibrox.
After Rangers drew at Partick Thistle on Friday night, the Scottish champions could go into that game with a five-point lead over their bitter rivals.
