‘Disgraceful’ – Rangers fans tear into ‘shocking’ player who lost seven duels vs Falkirk
Rangers fans were not happy with Oliver Antman as he failed to make any kind of impact during their dull 0-0 draw with Falkirk.
Danny Rohl has turned the tide at Rangers in the last few weeks since taking over following the sacking Russell Martin, but their showing against Falkirk was reminiscent of one of the old manager’s games.
The Gers dominated possession against their in-form opponents at Ibrox on Sunday (30 November), but were unable to turn it into meaningful as they had to settle for a goalless draw.
Substitute Djeidi Gassama came closest to breaking the deadlock in the second-half after a counter-attack, but his shot was well-saved by Scott Bain.
Rohl’s side sit fourth in the Premiership following the tie, nine points off top-of-the-table Hearts, and one player in particular was singled out by their fans for his poor showing.
Oliver Antman continues poor Rangers form vs Falkirk
Rangers signed Oliver Antman from Go Ahead Eagles in the summer window with high hopes after a strong Eredivisie campaign, but things have not gone to plan for him so far at Ibrox.
The Finland winger is yet to score for the Glasgow giants in 20 appearances so far, and the latest of those saw him struggle to make any kind of impact once more against Falkirk.
Antman had just one shot, which was off target, as well as only four touches in the Falkirk penalty area and two passes into the final third.
He won just three of his 10 duels (ground and aerial), while also committing two fouls and being dribbled past on two occasions before he was taken off in the 57th minute for Gassama.
Rohl warned after the game that “opportunities will be fewer” for his misfiring stars if they continue to play poorly, and Antman is surely one of those after his latest dismal performance.

Rangers have no room for passengers in their team right now as they aim to return to the top three of the Premiership table and progress in Europe, with Bojan Miovski also slammed for his bad Falkirk showing.
Antman has been singled out online for his poor showing vs Falkirk too, with one fan saying: “Nobody can tell me Curtis is worse than Antman He’s been disgraceful all season,” while another said: “Oliver Antman is shocking!”
Another fan added: “Not convinced he has what’s required to play for Rangers. Bajrami playing the 10 100%.”
