Djeidi Gassama to fear the worst after what Danny Rohl said ahead of Kilmarnock vs Rangers
Danny Rohl may have an extremely difficult decision on his hands in terms of a starting lineup when Rangers face Kilmarnock on Saturday.
Rangers have drawn back-to-back games against Dundee United and Falkirk, with Nedim Bajrami rescuing a point in the previous Scottish Premiership clash via a very late penalty.
Injuries have been piling up at Ibrox during the 2025-26 campaign, with the Gers having to head to Tannadice Park without the likes of Derek Cornelius, Oliver Antman, and John Souttar.
Rohl will now have Wilfried Nancy to contend with, as Celtic‘s new figure in the dugout, but the former Sheffield Wednesday boss is more likely to be focusing on getting all three points at Rugby Park on 6 December.

Danny Rohl drops some exciting injury news ahead of Kilmarnock
After 14 games, the Light Blues are currently sitting fourth in the Scottish Premiership table, only below Motherwell on goal difference, a team who have also played one more game than them.
Multiple members of Rangers’ hierarchy have been sacked recently, causing a lot of the focus to shift completely, but the manager will have full focus on the challenge ahead rather than the outside noise.
The Gers have a tricky history when it comes to Kilmarnock, so Rohl will need as strong a squad as possible when arriving at Rugby Park, and he could be about to welcome back one of his favourite players.
Rangers were preparing to send Mikey Moore back to Tottenham due to his failure to adapt to Scottish football, but the winger is now thriving at Ibrox and is likely to be a part of the matchday squad.
Djedi Gassama must battle it out for the left-wing position
Sadly, that will not be music to Djeidi Gassama‘s ears because, despite playing under the manager at Hillsborough, the duo have been battling it out for the left-wing spot this season.
Even if the 22-year-old were not to be dropped, it could see him forced out onto the opposite flank, where he is far less comfortable and even impactful, and that could knock his confidence at Rugby Park.
While Moore has only one goal and two assists in his first 17 appearances, there have been real signs of life under Rohl, and the youngster will be keen to build on his goal against Dundee last month.
Undoubtedly, his injury emerged at the worst time, when he was just getting going, but given how prominent he has been under the new manager, Gassama could be sacrificed at his expense.
