Dominik Szoboszlai posts emotional Alexander-Arnold message in new transfer hint
Dominik Szoboszlai has shared his feelings on Trent Alexander-Arnold after his departure from Liverpool was confirmed.
Alexander-Arnold is bound for pastures new this summer after he released a social media statement to state that he will leave Liverpool at the end of the season.
Arne Slot and Liverpool’s higher-ups may have been able to secure contract extensions for both Virgil van Dijk and Mohamed Salah in recent weeks, but must now be prepared for life without their superstar right-back.
Real Madrid have long since been touted as the destination for Alexander-Arnold when his deal expires at the end of next month, and one of his Liverpool team-mates now appears to have confirmed the move.

Szoboszlai sends heartfelt message to Alexander-Arnold
Alexander-Arnold’s confirmation of his imminent Anfield exit has led to an plethora of well-wishes from his Liverpool team-mates, as a 20-year association with the red half of Merseyside comes to a close.
Although it’s now certain that the 26-year-old will depart at season’s end, his expected move to Madrid is yet to be confirmed, but an announcement will likely soon be in pipeline from the Spanish giants.
Szoboszlai‘s Instagram story post on Monday (5 May) has now suggested that Alexander-Arnold’s much-anticipated move to Madrid will come to pass, despite no inclination given in the latter’s own post.
Szoboszlai said: “My boy, Trent Alexander-Arnold. Love you and enjoy”.

Liverpool ready Alexander-Arnold replacement
Alexander-Arnold’s various absences through injury have opened the door for Slot to experiment with other right-backs this season, and midfielder Curtis Jones slotted into the position with mixed results.
Conor Bradley is seen as a ready-made successor and also came through the club’s academy, but Football Insider revealed on Monday that Liverpool will be on the hunt for a new first-team right-back.
Former Man United chief scout Mick Brown told Football Insider in March that Slot is hopeful he can strike a deal with Bayer Leverkusen’s Jeremie Frimpong, but it remains to be seen if the highly-rated Dutch flyer will opt for a move to Anfield.
