Eberechi Eze U-turn latest after Tottenham swoop
Eberechi Eze is not likely to pull a U-turn on leaving Crystal Palace despite the club’s FA Cup win, sources have told Football Insider.
The 26-year-old was the hero at Wembley against Man City but has just two years left to run on his contract at Selhurst Park.
Sources say the trophy win and subsequent Europa League qualification will not make a huge difference to Eze’s decision.
The attacking midfielder has an active release clause worth £68million in his current Palace deal and is attracting interest from Tottenham, Man City and Man United – among others.
£68m star Eze still set for Crystal Palace exit
Football Insider revealed last week (14 May) that Spurs are planning to offer below that figure in initial negotiations this summer.
It is believed Crystal Palace are bracing to lose both Eze and captain Marc Guehi, who has just over 12 months left to run on his deal, this summer.

The England international, who was part of Thomas Tuchel’s first Three Lions squad earlier this year, has scored 14 goals and notched 11 assists in 42 games this season.
He cost Crystal Palace a fee of around £16million in 2020 and the Eagles stand to make a huge profit this summer.

Crystal Palace join Vardy race
Meanwhile, Football Insider has revealed (20 May) that Crystal Palace have joined the race to sign Jamie Vardy on a free transfer.
The Eagles have made contact with the departing Leicester City star’s camp about a summer deal.
The 38-year-old is planning to continue his playing career and is keen to carry on scoring at the highest level in the Premier League – with Wolves also interested.
