Eddie Nketiah posts confirmed Crystal Palace team news ahead of West Ham clash
Crystal Palace striker Eddie Nketiah shared an encouraging update to supporters ahead of Saturday’s West Ham clash after suffering an injury back in August.
Crystal Palace have faced a mixed start to the season, winning just once and drawing three games in the Premier League.
Despite that, they continue to build on a remarkable 16-game unbeaten run stretching back to last season, including Crystal Palace’s FA Cup victory over Man City and Community Shield win against Liverpool.
Palace also beat Millwall to secure progression to the third round of the Carabao Cup.
However, one player who has been missing from the start of the season is Nketiah, who faced a hamstring injury in early August.
Now, the striker has posted on social media in an encouraging update to the supporters on his recovery.

Eddie Nketiah returns to training amid West Ham clash
Nketiah confirmed on Instagram that he has officially returned to training after his hamstring injury, offering a welcome boost to Oliver Glasner’s options.
He posted a message alongside Maxence Lacroix in their latest training session and said: “We back” with a muscle emoji.

The forward endured a frustrating season last term in the league, often limited to cameo appearances off the bench.
But he proved effective when given the opportunity, such as when Nketiah scored twice against Wolves days after the FA Cup final.
He made just nine starts in the Premier League but still managed to register 10 goal contributions across all competitions after his move from Arsenal in the summer of 2024.
But with a stacked schedule with European football and cup competitions already underway, the Englishman looks set for more consistent minutes as competition for places with Jean-Philippe Mateta intensifies.
Glasner has also praised Nketiah since his return, with the manager saying: “He missed all the pre-season, but he looked very good in training today [Friday] and on Wednesday, when we had a really intense session” [BBC Sport].

Crystal Palace to entertain Marc Guehi offers
While Nketiah’s return strengthens Palace’s attacking options, one key defensive player who may leave in January is Marc Guehi.
Football Insider revealed Palace could look to accept offers for Guehi during the January transfer window to prevent him leaving on a free transfer.
The captain had a deadline day move to Liverpool blocked and now enters the final few months of his deal, but interested clubs could attempt to secure his signature at a cut-price fee.
