Sources: Callum O'Hare undergoing Wrexham medical after deal agreed
Callum O'Hare is set to undergo a medical at Wrexham on Tuesday morning ahead of his switch from Sheffield United, sources have told Football Insider.
The Red Dragons have agreed a deal to sign the 28-year-old on a permanent basis, and are set to complete his signing ahead of Tuesday's 11pm deadline.
Phil Parkinson's side have been working to bolster their attacking midfield options in recent days, and O'Hare emerged as a clear priority for them.
Wrexham have now moved quickly to secure the signature of the former Coventry City man, with a deal set to be confirmed in the coming hours.
O'Hare impressed with nine goals and seven assists for the Blades last season, and already has two goals to his name from his opening five games this term.
He is now set to move to North Wales and join Wrexham's push for the Premier League, provided there are no complications with his medical.
Wrexham land proven Championship quality
Wrexham have been exploring all facets of the attacking midfielder market in the last few days, which saw them consider options from across Europe.
Football Insider revealed last weekend that they were weighing up a move to sign HNK Rijeka star Toni Fruk, who is regarded as one of the Croatian league's leading stars.
However, they have ultimately opted to move for O'Hare, who is a much more proven quantity in English football.
He has been a consistent threat at Championship level in recent years, and will add the quality that Wrexham have been looking for to support their strikers.
He also has ample experience of competing at the top end of the second tier, having reached play-off finals with both Sheffield United and Coventry in recent years.
Joe Worrall set for Wrexham medical
Football Insider also revealed on Monday that Joe Worrall is set for a medical at Wrexham ahead of an imminent move for Burnley.
A permanent deal has been agreed for the 29-year-old centre-back, who was due in North Wales for his final checks on Monday.
Worrall has previously gained promotion from the Championship with both Burnley and Nottingham Forest, but has yet to feature in league action so far this term.
His signing is yet to be confirmed by Wrexham, who are set for a busy deadline day.
