Elliot Anderson and Gibbs-White share excited messages about one Nottingham Forest teammate’s display vs Malmo
Morgan Gibbs-White was among the plaudits for James McAtee, after the midfielder starred in Nottingham Forest’s win over Malmo on Thursday.
Nottingham Forest beat Malmo 3-0 at the City Ground, with Ryan Yates, Arnaud Kalimuendo, and Nikola Milenkovic bagging the goals.
Sean Dyche‘s side dominated the occasion, restricting the visitors to just one shot throughout the 90 minutes.
Yates was superb against Malmo, with the midfielder opening the scoring with a lovely finish from just inside the box.
Dyche has enjoyed a transformative impact at Nottingham Forest, with his side now having won three consecutive games across all competitions.

James McAtee stars vs Malmo
Nottingham Forest spent £30million to buy McAtee from Manchester City in the summer, but the midfielder has not yet lived up to the price tag.
A slow start saw the 23-year-old dropped to the bench, with his appearance against Sunderland at the end of September the last time the England youth international has featured in the Premier League.

McAtee‘s performance on Thursday was encouraging, however, and the midfielder has put himself right back into contention for the visit of Brighton on Sunday.
The Manchester City product created a big chance and did his defensive work well, winning the majority of his duels on the night.
McAtee took to Instagram following the game, and wrote: “Class from the lads, keep building.”
Gibbs-White replied in the comments, posting two hearts, with Elliot Anderson also praising his teammate with a fire emoji.
Oli McBurnie, who spent time with McAtee at Sheffield United, also posted his support for the 23-year-old.
Sean Dyche faces nervous wait on Morgan Gibbs-White
McAtee may well find himself in the starting line-up for Sunday’s match, too, with Gibbs-White missing out on Thursday.
Speaking ahead of the Malmo game, Dyche said: “Just settling an issue with him. He’s going to miss this one. Hopefully it will settle down quickly but we’re waiting for news.”
The former Everton manager will not want to take any risks with the midfielder, who has been so crucial for Nottingham Forest this season.
Gibbs-White’s absence could see McAtee handed just his second Premier League start since arriving at the City Ground.
