Elliot Anderson was let down by Nottingham Forest teammates vs Midjtylland
Elliot Anderson was a bright spark as Nottingham Forest lost their first home match of the Europa League campaign on Thursday.
Despite goals from Dan Ndoye and Chris Wood, Forest were beaten 3-2 by Midjtylland on 2 October at the City Ground.
The East Midlands outfit are now winless in six attempts since Ange Postecoglou replaced Nuno Espirito Santo in the dugout.
Nottingham Forest supporters have already vented their frustrations at Postecoglou amid their increasingly poor form.

Elliot Anderson didn’t deserve to be on the losing side vs Midjtylland
As sack pressure begins to mount on Postecoglou, England midfielder Anderson has not allowed his performance levels to drop.
The 22-year-old was Forest’s standout player against Midjtylland, making more touches, more passes in the final third, and more chances than anyone else involved in the match.
Anderson excelled out of possession too, winning more fouls and more duels than any of his teammates or his opponents.
Nottingham Forest need Elliot Anderson to haunt his former club
Postecoglou must turn his attention back to the Premier League, while Forest were beaten 1-0 by Sunderland in their last top-flight encounter.

That result left the City Ground club with just five points from six league games , and just one point clear of the relegation zone.
Therefore, Forest must win against Newcastle United at St James’ Park on Sunday, 5 October, but the Magpies are in good form after beating Union Saint-Gilloise 4-0 in the Champions League.
Postecoglou’s men must win the midfield battle to beat Eddie Howe’s side, so they will need Anderson on his best form once again when they travel to the North East.
Forest then face tough fixtures after the international break, as they take on Chelsea and an in-form Bournemouth outfit in the Premier League, either side of their Europa League clash with Porto.
Unless the East Midlands club produce an outstanding performance against Newcastle, time could already be running out for Postecoglou.
