‘Embarrassing’- Wolves fans all say the same about what Yerson Mosquera did vs Grimsby
Yerson Mosquera’s long throw-ins have been a point of discussion among the Wolves fanbase during their FA Cup tie at Grimsby Town.
Wolves headed to the League Two side having endured a miserable Premier League season, with the FA Cup a welcome distraction from their challenging league campaign.
Grimsby had knocked Manchester United out of the Carabao Cup earlier in the season, with the Mariners advancing 12-11 on penalties, so Wolves were warned of a potential banana skin before the game.
Wolves arrived having not won a game since beating fellow League Two side Shrewsbury 6-1 in the third round of the competition.

Yerson Mosquera slammed for ‘pathetic’ moment
In a frustrating first half for Wolves, where they could not register a shot on target against their lower league opponents, supporters vented their frustration at Mosquera.
Wolves fans believe Rob Edwards needs to stop persisting with long throw-ins from Mosquera, with many thinking that they are pointless.
The defender, who was booked in the first half, has been a constant starter under Edwards, and was not rested as Wolves put out a strong starting line-up.
One fan claimed that Mosquera “can’t throw the ball further than 10 yards,” whilst another thinks the tactic is “bad coaching.”

Joao Gomes transfer update emerges
Wolves’ position at the bottom of the Premier League table makes relegation to the Championship an almost certain prospect for the club.
Edwards will be certain to lose some star players in the summer transfer window, with midfielder Joao Gomes one of those who could leave Molineux.
Gomes has been linked with a move to Man United, and the 25-year-old has indicated that he does not want to move to Brazil.

Man United could have to pay up to £50million for Gomes, who has started 23 of Wolves’ 26 Premier League games this season.
Italian club Napoli have also registered their interest in Gomes, who has yet to contribute a goal or assist in the Premier League this campaign.
Wolves lost striker Jorgen Strand Larsen in the January window, whilst the likes of Mateus Mane have also been attracting interest from Premier League clubs amid a potential summer move.
