Chelsea surely struggling to stop Enzo Fernandez leaving as full stats emerge from Wolves clash
Chelsea might find themselves struggling to keep hold of Enzo Fernandez after the midfielder’s latest performance at Stamford Bridge.
The 24-year-old experienced a slow start to life in England, but two years on from his arrival, the Argentine is one of Enzo Maresca‘s most consistent stars.
Moises Caicedo has been in incredible form for Chelsea, and together, helping to form a world-beating partnership in the middle of the park, and some European giants will be keeping tabs on him.
With Cole Palmer still sidelined with injury, the Blues’ attack has certainly suffered. Maresca’s side have found new ways to continue winning, though, currently sitting fifth in the Premier League table.
Fernandez has played a huge role in the team’s success so far this season, boasting five goals and four assists in 22 appearances across all competitions, and that will not go unnoticed.
European giants surely keeping tabs on Enzo Fernandez
While the next transfer window does not open until January, it is no secret that Fernandez has his admirers from across Europe, with the 24-year-old proving he can perform at any level.
Real Madrid are interested in Fernandez, Football Insider understands, having already attempted to lure him to the Bernabeu. Los Blancos are also keeping tabs on Caicedo. But then again, who wouldn’t be?
More and more clubs are intensifying their interest in an attempt to secure his signature, but if they are to do that, the Blues are unlikely to sanction his exit for anything less than £100million.

A decent performance from the talented midfielder is not really a surprise, but looking at his full stats against Wolves on Saturday, 8 November, it is easily understandable why he is so sought after.

Malo Gusto opened the scoring for Chelsea, much to the surprise of everyone, with Joao Pedro and Pedro Neto stealing the spotlight. Still, Fernandez’s performance needs to be highlighted.
The 24-year-old was quick out of the blocks in West London, having two early efforts saved well by Sam Johnstone, but that did not hinder his confidence in front of goal.

He continued being a danger, creating chances for his teammates, and getting fully involved against the Old Gold, even tracking back to do the dirty work alongside Caicedo.
There is nothing that the Argentine cannot do, which is exactly why Real Madrid are trying to steal his signature. His stats speak for themselves, and they have probably added some millions onto his price tag.
