Erling Haaland: Man City ‘will never lose again’ after source’s transfer update
Man City will win the Premier League for at least the next five years if Erling Haaland joins the club.
That’s according to former West Ham hitman Frank McAvennie, speaking exclusively to Football Insider about City’s chances of landing the striker.
A Man City source told Football Insider on Saturday (12 February) they are in pole position to sign the 21-year-old superstar as his father Alf Inge wants his son to sign for his former club.

Haaland has a £68million release clause that activates at the end of the season meaning the competition for his signature will be red-hot.
McAvennie hailed the striker as “absolutely ridiculous” and insists it “makes sense” for him to join City.
“If he signs for City, just pack it up,” McAvennie told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.
“You may as well not turn up anymore. The guy is absolutely ridiculous.
“He scores every time he plays and Man City are pretty good without an out and out striker.
“City haven’t really been challenged this season, Liverpool are the closest but they aren’t that close.
“Get Haaland and, honestly, it’s game over, they will never lose again. What’s the point in turning up?
“That’s the Premier League decided for the next five years or so, if not longer.
“I love the guy I think he’s brilliant. His Dad played for City, didn’t he? So that makes a lot of sense to me.”

Haaland has scored 80 goals in 79 total appearances for Dortmund.
He has scored 16 in 14 league games this term.
In other news, Kieran Maguire has revealed Man City can thank Premier League chiefs as Friday news means a £176m per year payout is on the cards.
